How does it look like to work in a company where sometimes a person from  World Courier operations department has to take a sample personally upon client request or when the lifespan of a sample is limited? 

World Courier works  24/7  all year round and all around the world. Our company provides special transport conditions for temperature and time sensitive shipments in the temperature range from -70 to +25 C, depending on a shipment,  in thermal containers, on dry ice,  mobile refrigerators or dangerous goods packaging (all in accordance with IATA regulations).  

Who are your main clients?

We mostly work with pharmaceutical companies and hospitals,  and for clinical studies. In addition to priority transport without goods classification, we also provide services regarding the regulation of all import and export formalities, both in Serbia and abroad, with the preparation of relevant documentation, as well submission of customs guarantees or payment of customs and other dues and fees on behalf of our clients.

You have been in OfficeMe space practically from the beginning, haven’t you?

Our representative office in Serbia has been in this coworking space since April 2017 and we are among the first tenants, which  shows how the company is satisfied with this space.

If you were to recommend OfficeMe space, what feature would you single out?

I would recommend it to everybody (laughs). It is excellent for IT companies, and many tenants are from IT business.  I think it is best for small companies, because you are in a business environment, you meet new people, and some new opportunities arise. Take me as an example, I actually worked at OfficeMe and got a job offer to come to work for World Courier.

Your nice story is about getting a job in World Courier  owing to OfficeMe, isn’t it?​

I worked as an Office Administrator in OfficeMe space for about a year and a half. There was an open position in World Courier for which I was a good candidate and, therefore, they offered me a job.  I am grateful to Branko for supporting and helping me during  that transition. Now Aleksandar works for  OfficeMe and we all work and operate together well.

Why did your company choose OfficeMe?

I believe that the primary reasons were excellent connections, airport proximity,  and the vicinity of companies we cooperate with.  We even have clients from this business building and from offices nearby. We are here as a branch office, we also have agents who work for us, so here we cover only sales and customer service. And from that viewpoint, this space suits us completely.  It surely provides space for expansion.

Do you socialise with others here?​

Since we are a small team, I like having more people around with whom I can spend my  break, have a coffee, or have a chat.   Or  to  go out in the garden, where both smokers and non-smokers spend time.  One of the initiators for our socializing is also a non-smoker who calls us to spend our break together and it’s always fun.  We also order food together and it may seem that we order for the entire army when, for example,  five of us order food.  We act as one team, which is very important, especially because we come from different companies from different business fields, but it does not prevent us from socialising and chatting.  I am especially happy because, although I have changed my job,  I  am still surrounded by the same people and I am still at the same environment.
